If you didnt already know, I am a very proud 2016 TEF Alumni. Even though my initial business failed, I eventually went on to launch a premium mobile photography company but this article isnt really about me per se.
Rather, its about the fact that Mr. Tony O. Elumelu CON, Founder, The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), invited myself alongside several other entrepreneurs to an interactive session with His Excellency, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, where he will address 2000 young Africans including TEF entrepreneurs. If there is a constant theme in what Mr. Elumelu has been doing aside evangelizing Africapitalism tirelessly, it is the fact that he constantly seeks and delivers ways to bring together the largest number of entrepreneurs across Africa. This interactions, forums et al jumpstart conversations, building networks and synergies and I believe would go a very long way in building the interconnected business ecosystem that Africa so desperately needs.
I am looking forward to listening to His Excellency, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic speak tomorrow and the insights I can learn from him.
I also understand that the French president will be treated to a visit to the famous Kalakuta republic at Ikeja the following day. This means for all those who would not be attending the event, traffic would be a nightmare. LASG has put measures in place to help…hopefully.
